Welcome Nora!!!

On Thursday, June 14th Nora surprised us with an early delivery! Around 5:15 I got up to use the restroom and my water broke. We still had to pack but it was an exciting morning. Labor pains started pretty quickly. By the time I was going in to the OR around 9:00am I was in a great deal of pain and ready for the spinal! Overall, surgery went great. Our ob had just returned from a trip the night before at midnight and she came in just to deliver Nora. I was SO thankful!!! Over the last week we have been getting adjusted to life with 2 kiddos. Emma loves Nora and asks to hold her multiple times a day. She has had her moments of adjustment and will continue to do so over the next few weeks but overall she is really taking this big sister thing pretty well. We have been so blessed to have help from family and meals from friends and family.
