I must admit I am a little depressed about going back to school next week. So to help with that I have tried to cram in as much last minute summer fun as possible in the last week or two. We have been pretty busy, but it has been worth it. Saturday we took Emma to the zoo. She hadn't been since she was a few months old so it was really fun to see her get so excited to see the animals. She seemed to get the most excited about the penguins and the bright fish. She also like the lions...she will roar like a lion right now. It is adorable! :) We were disappointed we didn't get to see the new baby elephant, but overall a super fun family day.
She LOVED the dolphin show. When the lights went out for the show to start she got nervous and just kept saying "no...no" but once the dolphins started doing tricks she was hooked and kept signing for more.
At lunch Russ surprised her with a monkey juice. She LOVED it! She wouldn't let us near it...it was so funny. She drank most of it and then dumped the rest all over herself and her car seat on the way home...AWESOME.
We popped into the gardens before we headed home. Emma like the gnome and splashing in the water. Otherwise, she wasn't too impressed.
