Charleston, South Carolina

Last week we spent 4 days in Charleston, South Carolina and LOVED IT! In fact we have decided that we would move there or even better love a beach house there if the opportunity ever came about. It is a fun city with great restaurants, shopping, full of history and the beach just a few miles away. This was Emma's first time to the beach. She really enjoyed the sand, but was unsure about the ocean. She loved chasing the birds! She would follow them around the beach saying, "Hi!" and blowing them kisses.

I think this is the only "family" picture we were able to get.

We took a carriage ride around downtown. Emma enjoyed the horses.

Some people next to us on the beach had these big punching balloons. Emma saw them and we could keep her away. They were so kind and gave her one of her own.

We just love that the city is right on the ocean. It's so pretty and breezy.
