The Day to Day...: March 2012

Post birthday fun

On Sunday, my family came over for a visit before my grandparents and Ashley went back home. We had lunch and hung out. Emma got to play with Sadie again and really started to warm up to her.

Happy Birthday Emma!

Last Saturday Emma turned 2! We had a Dora birthday party and it was a blast. My friend Emily was kind enough to make Emma's cake. It turned out great! Emma loved it so much.

Emma sat very patiently looking at her cake before the party started. She wanted some so badly but was a pretty good listener and didn't touch it...too much. :)

Well between pregnancy and the day to day life with a 2 year old blogging has become the bottom of the list. A lot has happened in the last month but I will just recap a few highlights from February and then try to get back on track in March.

Ashley got her new little girl last month! Puppy Sadie arrived via airplane from Montana. She is a miniature golden retriever. She is so much fun! Emma didn't know what to think of her. She kept trying to walk in between Emma's legs.

Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day! My mom surprised me at work and brought a gift for Emma and dinner for Russ and I!! We were super excited and so thankful. Emma was thrilled to receive her balloon from Grandma Sherry. She carried it around almost the entire night.
