Sorry for the delay!

Where oh where has January gone? I can't say I am upset that it is already one month closer to spring, but I have gotten way behind on posts. It has been a fun month and a busy one. I am back to school and have a student teacher this semester. So far it is going great! It is so nice to have extra help. Russ has been busy at work and busy in the evenings as well with work/networking events. Hopefully, we can catch you up a bit with the posts below!

Big girl bed!

Emma's big girl bed was delivered today! It was a very exciting day for all of us. I can't believe she is already old enough to be out of her crib and into a big bed. We decided to skip the toddler bed phase and go straight to a full bed. Hopefully, that will save us a little in the long run. She loves her new bed! I am just praying she doesn't fall out!!

All tucked in for her first night.

It's a girl!

We had our 19 week ultrasound on Thursday. It went great and it was so fun to see this sweet baby girl growing inside of me. I have been feeling her a lot lately and she was very active during the ultrasound. Emma enjoyed it as well. She was a little concerned at first because I was laying on the table. She thought something was wrong and kept saying "Mommy boo boo." When we asked her after the ultrasound if she wanted a baby sister her reply was "sure." :) Emma has already been working on her name. She says "baby Norna" for Nora. It is very cute.

Silly Girl

Emma one morning before work with her friends Tanta and Blue.

In this video Emma is jumping off her bed after bath time. This became a nightly routine....and hilarious every night. It was especially funny pre-diaper but I didn't think you would want to see that version. :)

A few weeks ago Emma found the hat basket in our hallway closet. There were a few days where she wanted to wear this Colt's hat nonstop.

Addi turned 2 just over a week ago. Emma had a blast at her party. Here is a video of the girls playing chase through the streamers.

Baking with Grandma

Emma loves to help "cook." Grandma Sherry brought over cupcakes for her and Emma to make together a few weeks ago. Emma was a big help. :)

I think I need to try it to make sure it tastes o.k.....

And I better make sure this is o.k. too...

After Christmas cookies Emma is a pro with sprinkles.

All of her hard work paid off! They are delicious!!

Children's Museum

Before our membership expired we made one last trip to the museum for awhile. We decided not to renew for this year, but hope to next year. Emma had a great time and Grandma Rickie was able to come along too!
