Black Friday

Black Friday didn't consist of shopping in our house...well except for an on-line purchase. We celebrated Thanksgiving at Russ's parents with his family as well as mine. It was great to hang out and it was a beautiful day! I was a slacker however and didn't take a single picture while we were there.

After dinner we took Emma to the tree lighting in downtown Noblesville. It really has nothing on the tree lighting on the circle. But for not having to fight the crowd we loved it and Emma loved that she got to walk around and touch the lights. So I think it was a good fit for this year. Emma also spent her free time giving the wooden cut out of "Tanta"(Santa) high five and nuckies(knuckles). It was hilarious. Bonnie, David, Wes and Rachel joined us so it was fun to hang out with them!

We could hardly get her to the car after the lights came on. She stopped at each light she saw and wanted to identify what color it was.

Decorating tree

On Thursday, we put up the tree and other Christmas decorations. Emma loves the lights and had a blast exploring all of the ornaments.

She keeps removing the ornaments and either carrying them around with her or putting them on a new location on the tree.

And then a little time for coloring...

After a long day she curled up with Clifford and watched Clifford.

Grandma's Birthday Lunch

On Sunday, we met my family at Olive Garden to eat lunch and celebrate Grandma's 71st birthday.

Emma spent much of her time coloring...what's new? The girl is obsessed with drawing right now.

Then we had a little fun and got her to try a lemon...

Yeah, that didn't go over very well. She used to like them!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We celebrated Thanksgiving at my parent's house last weekend due to Ashley and Pete having to work on the actual holiday. My grandparents have been up from Georgia visiting which made it even more special. Russ's parents were also able to join us!

Halloween

Sunday afternoon Russ and well pretty much just Russ carved our pumpkins. Emma was not interested at all in the goop. However, she did enjoy coloring the template of Elmo.

Yep after that peek she was history.

Haley on the other hand was begging for pumpkin goop the entire time. She LOVES it. We figured it was pretty healthy for her so we let her eat some.

Halloween Night
Emma had so much fun trick-or treating this year. Addi came over and went with her so they were quite the pair.

One house down...gotta stop for a sucker break.

Emma loved seeing the pumpkins lit. She kept saying "hot."

Poor Elmo fell apart so it then became cookie monster. :)
