Christmas Day

We started out at home Christmas morning and then went to Russ parents for gifts and lunch. Emma didn't know what to think of her stocking from Santa!

When we got home we let Haley open a few of her gifts from Grandma. One was a box of Milkbones....we gave her a couple and then set the box in the pantry. The door wasn't shut all the way and next thing we know Haley has started to help herself to a little extra Christmas cheer! :)

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we kicked off the festivities at the Aufmann house. Emma had a great time playing with the tree, bows, paper and her new toys!

Haley and Papa playing tug with her new rope.

Emma has this contagious smile these days where she squints her eyes and has the biggest grin. You get a glimpse of it above.

More presents please...

One the ten day of Christmas, my True Love gave to me...

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my True Love gave to me...

breakfast in bed. Yum!

Emma's takes her first steps!

On Wednesday, we spent most of the day over at the Patterson house hanging out with Addi. The girls exchanged Christmas gifts.

Emma took her first steps while trying to push Addi on her Dora car! She has been trying to pull up on everything since we spent the day with Addi. I think she has gotten a little motivation from her friend!

Emma and Addi Reunite!

Russ, Emma and I finally got to visit with the Garrison crew on Saturday morning. It was fun to see the girls interact together. Addi is walking like a pro and Emma enjoyed her new in town friend!

Emma Meets Santa!

On Sunday we went to a friends house so that Emma could meet Santa. She had a great time and I think was the only child that didn't totally freak out when placed on his lap. I am sure next year will be a different story! :) She is still in the honeymoon stage where she will go to just about anyone.

Um...I'm not so sure now.

Hum...I sure would like to tug on that beard the way I pull mommy's hair.

Below is a video of Santa and Emma....I apologize for it being sideways. We had the camera vertical and couldn't get it to rotate on our computer.

Emma loved Ben's Elmo chair!

On the eigth day of Christmas my True Love gave to me...

...Call of Duty Gingerbread house!

Ha! So we made a gingerbread house with a twist. Russ loves Call of Duty so I thought before Emma gets too old we would do a boys dream scene with blood, army men and guts. I know a it's a bit disturbing, but Russ had a blast! :) It ended up falling totally apart before bed which made it look all the more like a war zone.
