Week 7 Update

Emma has slept for 6 hours 2 nights this week!!! It has been amazing although once I wake up and realize she hasn't gotten me up I immediately think she has stopped breathing. Nope....she is just sleeping away!

Here are some pictures and videos taken this week. She is really starting to become more aware of her immediate surroundings. She is also starting to find her voice and make more than grunt sounds.

Welcome Home Maddie!!

Julie, a friend from work, arrived yesterday evening with their new addition....Maddie. Maddie is from China. A few of us from school met them at the airport to welcome them home. It was so neat to see this little one so happy and content in her mommy's arms. She is absolutely beautiful!

Growing like a weed!

Emma had her 1 month appointment today which actually fell at 5 weeks. She weighs 8lb 5oz now and is 20.5in long!! I knew she was getting bigger but I can't believe she has gained 3lbs since we left the hospital!

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter. We ventured to church for the first time since Emma has arrived and then went over to Russ's parents for lunch. By the afternoon Emma was too exhausted to even notice her Easter goodies. ;)

My Grandparents were in town this week. We were able to get a 4 generation photo together. Hopefully, Ashley can be included when they return this summer.
